Join us to understand the various characteristics of giftedness and how
it affects their social and emotional development. Discuss the
challenges giftedness may present to parenting and family life. Learn
what you can do to support and nurture "the whole child".
Activities for children aged 2 years and up will be offered while parents and guardians attend conference sessions.

Dr. Peterson
is an award-winning expert on the social and emotional development of
gifted children and teens. She is a Licensed Mental Health
Counselor with a clinical practice focused on gifted youth, and has
served on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Gifted
Children.
